This is a great hotel to stay at if you have pets. It is centrally located downtown and is only 2 blocks from Ringside's temp location and pioneer square. We have stayed here several times and it has been a good experience each time. We didn't have a good experience at the bar at the other Hilton property that is across the block, however; the rest of our stays have been good. We will stay here again.

i love this hotel. its so comfortable and you can earn Hilton reward points just for staying. stayed across the street at the Heathman but i dont think they thought we were "Heathman Material", so only stayed one night there. Love the views. i live in salem but when i go to Portland I will always stay here for the price and the comfort.
Pros: nice bar at the executive tower
Cons: should have free computer use
Cheaper Rates Than Others but in middle of construction Reviewed by rodessa on

The hotel is nice and in a good location but there is much construction going on in the area. Their parking lot was full so we had to park across the street in a parking garage and carry all of our stuff across the street. There are two towers. The first tower we entered we were greeted by a staff member who was slightly rude and told us we had to go across the street to check in. When we arrived across the street there was a line for check in and most of those people had rooms in the opposite tower (that we just came from). Once we got registered and to our room we were shocked at how small the room was; you could barely squeeze between the bed and the dresser to get to the other side of the room. I can see why the price for this "luxory" hotel was cheaper than others in the area. The redeeming quality was the food and drinks in the lobby bar; it was prehaps the best lobby bar we have encountered
