On December 29, 2020, the first of the PDX pipelines will appear on the list of the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality's (ODFW) Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
It's been 10 years since Portland Dining Month, and considering it's the longest such event in the state, The Oregon Wine Month Memorial Weekend closes with a celebration that should not be missed. The festival fills the blocks in northwest Portland and will take place on Saturday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to the events and restaurants in the city, you will find a variety of food trucks, beer, wine, craft beer and more. You can also arrange a walking event for the shot across the road from Shamrock Run. The event includes a stone throwing competition, in which only beefy athletes can hurl 96-pound stones into the sky at a distance of 1,000 feet.
The Portland event has earned a reputation as one of the best pickup marathons in the US for its food, beer and entertainment. In fact, the festival is so popular that the sixth season of Portlandia began with an episode that took place at the Pickathon.
The Portland Trail Blazers play their first home game of the season against the New York Knicks at the Moda Center. Blazers faithful to the game, local and national fights are fought by the Portland Timbers, Portland State University and Rose City Thunder, among others.
